A day learning about olives at McIvor Estate vineyard

Cooking School | A focus on olives | Saturday June 23rd

Gary and Cynthia at McIvor's olive grove is almost ready to deliver it's crop and they're inviting you to enjoy a day learning about what to do with fresh olives.

On June 23rd they will be teaching you to pick, pickle and preserve, so you can make the most of the season's bounty. A fun and informal day, you will head out to the grove to pick some olives, then head back to the cellar door to learn what to do with them, from preparing, pickling, to ideas for cooking.

A chance to get out in the open and experience life as a producer. You'll get to take home any olives you pick and put your newly learnt skills into practice. Of course it's not all work! Cynthia & Gary will also be serving up an olive inspired lunch, and a glass or two of wine where you can swap olive recipes and tips and meet your fellow pickers.

Cost: $95
Time: 10.30pm - 3.30pm
