Get Intimate with a Winemaker at the Hunter Valley Wine & Food Month

With the half way mark of the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month upon us, there are still many unique food and wine events, classes and overnight stays to be enjoyed in the Hunter Valley for the rest of the month. A particular highlight and a way to get ‘up close and personal’ with your favourite Hunter Valley winemaker is taking part in one of the events included in the ‘Winemakers Table Series’.

This series is for the aspiring... or well established ‘winophiles’ and ‘foodies’! It boasts lunches and dinners which are quite intimate occasions. Hosted by a leading winemaker, they will select a range of their favourite wines that will be matched by a Hunter chef who will talk you through their food creations using local produce.

Ambassador for the Month Lyndey Milan, who will be hosting her event this coming Saturday at McWilliams Mount Pleasant says, “There is no other region that does this so well, where guests can have an intimate gastronomic experience with the winemakers whose wine they have come to know and love. These are the kind of events that, paired with exceptional food, make for an unforgettable moments for years to come.”

Bookings are essential and here are some examples of what’s on offer:
