Fog City Cloudy Cider: For The Serious Cider Connoisseur

With recent reports indicating there is still plenty of fizz left in the burgeoning Australian cider industry, Fog City Cloudy Cider offers a refined choice for cider connoisseurs.

A bittersweet cloudy cider, Fog City is naturally engineered from a gathered blend of apples and pears to create full body and a crisp, tart taste. While there are a handful of cloudy ciders on the market, Fog City is the only cloudy apple and pear blend currently available to serious cider aficionados.

Fog City Cloudy Cider is delicately carbonated, for a more understated tipple than it’s bubbly cousins. With 6% alc/vol, Fog City Cloudy Cider has robust body and flavour.

Fog City Cider is an ode to a community who took from anyone’s fruit trees and blended it into a cloudy cider. The original San Fran recipe is inspired by urban hunter-gatherers, who fermented cider in whatever large drums were lying around.

With label art designed by artist Mimi Yoon from Los Angeles, Fog City Cider exudes mystery and sensuality, just like the urban hunter-gatherers of San Francisco.

Fog City Cloudy Cider comes in a 500ml bottle, so it is ideal for sharing, or equally, for being selfish.

Fog City Cloudy Cider is part of the East Ninth Brewing family, which also includes Doss Blockos Pale Lager, Fog City Red Sangria, and Lick Pier Ginger Beer. Doss Blockos was inspired by the New York squatting movement and proved a massive hit throughout Australia for the innovative Melbourne-based brewing company.

East Ninth products are stocked at over 4,000 restaurants, bars and bottle shops around the country, including Cutler & Co, Chin Chin, and Loam in Victoria; Sydney’s Spencer Guthrie and Gardel’s Bar, Canvas and Black Coffee Lyrics in Queensland; and Lalla Rookh and Mechanics Institute in WA.
