Darebin’s Homemade Food & Wine Festival
Darebin City Council’s Homemade Food & Wine Festival (formerly known as the Homemade Beer & Wine Festival) will be held again this year in and around the Preston City Hall. The festival celebrates food traditions and sustainable food practices, and will feature tastings, music, seminars and cooking demonstrations.
The title of best passata, wine and beer will again be hotly contested, and this year people can also enter their homemade ajvar, an Eastern European roasted red capsicum and eggplant relish.
