THE LIQUID HARVEST -- Melbourne Food and Wine Festival On March 7th 2013, independent Aussie spirit cultivators, The West Winds Gin, Tequila Tromba and 666 Pure Tasmanian Vodka, took Melbourne drinkers on a journey through the tastes, colours and aromas of the lands in which their harvest is produced. West Winds Gin explored the rich botanicals of Margaret River in Western Australia, Tequila Tromba shed light on the Mexican highland agave fields and 666 Vodka showcased Tasmania's sweeping barley meadows. Guests learned how to complement these flavours with fresh market-foraged fruits and spices to create mind-blowing cocktails and sampled food from the Market's renowned Köy Restaurant.
