Be the next Hunter Valley Wine & Food Champion

Did you ever think you could be a champion gold medallist in the Food and Wine Olympics? Did you ever want to learn how to make a cocktail and show off at your next dinner party? What about being able to sip on some premium sparkling and eat Oysters to your heart’s content? You could even have your creative photograph published in a magazine.

With the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month only a week away, and over 70 events on offer, the choices are endless and its nothing like you would have experienced before.

To start celebrating Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month, attend the launch at Goldfish on June 3rd to get a taste of what’s to come, mingle with the winemakers, enjoy some canapés, drinks and relax with live entertainment.

You could throw your rug out among the vines at Peterson’s House for oysters and bubbles. Or if you would like something more competitive and upbeat, enter yourself into team challenges at the Hungerford Hill Food and Wine Olympics, and showcase your 'Food and Wine skills". Bring out your culinary flair and winemaking charm.

If you consider yourself a photographer with a sharp eye and a great palate, then Tulloch Wines has a fun and challenging competition for you. Your 'creative brief' is to shoot the front cover of a Food and Wine Magazine. You can choose from a range of props at the Tulloch Cellar Door and using the camera provided, capture your masterpiece on film.

The winner's picture will be published on the Tulloch website as well as in the next edition of Hunter Valley Breathe Magazine. Who knows, this could be the start of a new and exciting career!

Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month has so much more to offer, so do yourself a favour and try something new, you won’t regret it.
Hunter Valley Wine and Food month is a Tourism NSW Regional Flagship event, which is supported by the NSW Government through Tourism NSW and its Regional Tourism Partnership Funding Program.
