This one's for the Dad's...

Oh go on, let’s compromise and do it Dad’s way, it's one day a year!

Dad’s heaven awaits at Middle Park Hotel this Father’s Day (September 5th) with a celebration of everything that is close to a man’s heart; red meat, footy finals, cold beer and family.

Renowned as the pub that grills the tastiest cut of sustainable rare breed beef in town, Middle Park Hotel has a cracker of a menu created by Paul Wilson evidenced by its’ nomination for The Age Good Food Guide 2011 - Best New Restaurant.

Dad can kick back with the family and unleash his inner carnivore with a bottle red. Try the 1 Kilo “Club Steak” - a rib of Black Angus grilled over wood fire for maximum flavour and finish with a bread and butter pudding served with apricots and whisky custard.

Australia’s largest bar measuring 70 metres with 45 taps (including the award winning Grand Ridge Hatlifter Stout & Coldstream Cider) will ensure Dad’s thirst is well sated while he kicks back and catches all the action from the first round of AFL finals.

Victorian wines from regions such as the Yarra Valley, Mornington Pennisula and Geelong perfectly accompany the local breeds of beef.

A signed football jumper has been offered as a ‘door prize’ and a rare breed meat tray ‘raffle’ featuring cuts of Belted Galloway and Black Angus will raise money for Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Middle Park Hotel is also offering a special accommodation package, including a night in the newly opened ‘Lads Luxe’ hotel with the ‘missus’ and a continental breakfast in the morning for $200.
